Rajesh Somani

MD & CEO

Mr. Rajesh Somani, a visionary leader with over three decades of expertise in international commodities trading and has held leadership role as MD & CEO at global firms such as Aditya Birla Global Trading (Singapore) Pte Ltd and Global Smart Comtrade Pte Ltd, driving multi-billion-dollar revenues and pioneering strategic growth across markets.

A Harvard Business School alumnus and qualified Chartered Accountant, Rajesh combines financial acumen with cutting-edge insights from executive programs in Big Data Analytics and Machine Learning (National University of Singapore).

His accolades include the Chairman's Award for Outstanding Leadership (Aditya Birla Group), the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award and Member of the Year award by ICAI, New Delhi in First International Leaders Awards in 2018 in Abu Dhabi, underscoring his transformative impact.

Committed to industry advancement, Rajesh chairs the ICAI Dubai Chapter and as a member of the executive committee, he has positioned IFSC's GIFT City as a global commodity trading hub, guided by his philosophy, "If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together," which underscores his collaborative drive for sustainable excellence. A firm believer in continuous learning, he champions the ethos that "When you stop learning, you stop leading," blending leadership with relentless growth.

Krishan Kumar Gupta

Deputy CEO

Krishan has 30+ years of experience working in a multinational conglomerate and international trading business. His journey with Aditya Birla Group began in April 1991 where he worked with Jaya Shree Insulators, and joined Aditya Birla Global Trading in December 1992.

Krishan has profound knowledge in the commodity trading business, particularly the Energy & Metals sector as well as Strategy and Business Development.

His work inpires him a lot as he gets to engage with people, build & sustain relations, win trust and work with many young colleagues. In his free time, Krishan enjoys travelling, spending time with family as well as watching movies and sports.

Krishan is a qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI India and holds a B.Com. degree from Maharshi Dayanand University, India.

Manish Kumar Tibrewal

CFO

Manish has 30+ years of experience in finance, banking and risk management. He joined Aditya Birla Group in April 1995, where he worked in Aditya Birla Chemicals and moved to Aditya Birla Global Trading in March 2007.

Manish has expertise in finance, process excellence, risk management, banking and treasury, sourcing, marketing and business restructuring.

He is passionate about gardening, loves travelling, is an avid reader of spiritual literature and enjoys spending time with family.

Manish is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary from ICAI India. He holds an MBA from Manipal GlobalNxt University and B.Com. degree from St. Xaviers College, India.
